Dr. Bibb received his BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson
University where he was elected to the chemicals engineering
honorary. He followed his BS by taking a masters degree in
bio-environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute. He then completed a doctorate in bio-environmental
engineering and was elected to the civil engineering honorary.
Dr. Bibb then spent two years working as a senior health
physicist at Westinghouse Nuclear Fuels, where his specialty
was radiation protection engineering.
Two years in the corporate world were followed by admission
into the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing
his MD degree, Bob did his internship in New Orleans where
he was voted outstanding intern of the year. He served in the
Public Health Service Corps and received a citation for
distinguished service.
Government service was followed by a residency in dermatology
at MUSC. Dr. Bibb has been in private dermatology practice
in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina since 1984.
Dr. Bibb lists gaining a broad base of scientific knowledge
as one of his hobbies. His strong interest in cancer prevention
is a result of having lost his father to the disease. |
